Up on the 7th floor of No. 3A Hare Street is where you will find us at Hp Cotton Casuals Pvt. Ltd. It is quite a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens every now and then. We have stacks of cotton clothes and samples piled up on the tables. The windows give a decent view of the street below but we are usually too busy counting boxes to look out much. It gets dusty with all the fabric around. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to the factory or checking on shipments that are supposed to arrive. Hare Street is always crowded so getting deliveries in and out can be a real headache. The office isn't anything special to look at. Just some desks, a few racks for the new samples, and a lot of paperwork piled up. We have a small corner where we make tea and talk about the day’s work. My hands are usually dry from handling the fabric all day. It’s just a regular clothing business. We try to keep everything organized but when a big order comes in, the whole floor gets covered in plastic wrap and cardboard. It is just the way we work here at Hp Cotton Casuals. Sometimes the 7th floor gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we just open the windows and deal with it. We stay late most nights.
