Our office is tucked away in Burrabazar on Kalakar Street. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with the rickshaws and the laborers carrying big loads on their heads. At number 2/1B, we manage everything for events. It is not just about the big day but all the small stuff like getting the chairs to the right place and making sure the lights work. We started this because we liked organizing things, even if it is a headache sometimes. The space here is always full of decorations and samples. There is not much room to move around. We are usually out on the field anyway. Burrabazar is a tough place to work because of the traffic, but it is central for everything we need. We have seen all kinds of functions, from small house parties to big weddings. It is hard work. We stay up late quite often. Our staff just wears regular clothes and we get our hands dirty. We don't have a big reception or fancy coffee. We just sit around this old table and plan out how to get things from one side of the city to the other. It is messy and loud here, but that is how we like it. We just want to make sure things go okay for the people who hire us. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch because we are so busy with the phone calls and planning.
