We’ve been at 196, Old China Bazar for a long time now. It’s a busy spot, always noisy with people moving stuff around. My brother and I run things here mostly. Most days we are just sorting through stock or talking to folks who walk in off the street. The shop isn't much to look at, just a regular space filled with boxes and piles of stuff. We keep a lot of different items, basically whatever people are looking for in this part of the market. It gets pretty crowded in the afternoons when the sun is hitting the street. Sometimes the old fans don't work right, but we manage. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just doing our work and getting through the long list of things to do. It’s a lot of manual work and checking inventory by hand. If you find your way through the narrow lanes of the bazar, you’ll see our sign hanging there. It’s been there for years. We know most of the shopkeepers nearby. Some days are slower than others, so we sit on the stools and watch the crowd. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next delivery truck to show up nearby. It’s just how life is here. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just this place. It’s a bit dusty but it works for us. We usually open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down.
