You can find us at 9/3 Priya Mitra Lane. This is in the Raigargh area of Patipukur, Kolkata-48. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows each other’s business. We’ve been here for a while now, operating Hindusthan Uddak. The building is simple, nothing to brag about, but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry when the monsoons hit hard. Patipukur can be a bit chaotic with all the movement, but we like the energy. Our office is just a regular room with a few tables and chairs. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking lists. There’s a tea stall nearby where we usually go when we need a break. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a brochure. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but work comes first. We handle our logistics and local accounts from this spot. It’s a busy neighborhood, and sometimes getting a vehicle down Priya Mitra Lane is a real headache. But we’ve figured out the timing over the years. We aren't here to make a big show of things. We just come in, do the work, and go home. It’s a local operation through and through. There are often stacks of files on the floor because we run out of shelf space. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is.
