Hindustan Motors Ltd has a spot here in Salt Lake City, specifically at I. C Block, Quarter No. 330. Being in Kolkata 700106 is a bit different than being out in the districts. It feels more like an office quarter here. We do a lot of the organizing and the behind-the-scenes stuff from this address. The rooms are a bit small, and we’ve got files tucked into every available corner. It’s not a showroom or anything like that. It’s just where the work gets sorted. We have a small staff here, and we mostly know each other's coffee orders by now. The neighborhood is quieter than the factory zones, which is nice for a change. You can hear the birds sometimes, though the traffic from the main Salt Lake roads is always there in the background. We don't have a big neon sign outside. It’s just a regular quarter where we do our business. Sometimes people come looking for the big plant, and we have to tell them that this is just the Salt Lake office. We try to keep things orderly, but with all the ledgers and documents, it’s a bit of a struggle. We don't use big words or fancy titles. We’re just the people managing the records and the logistics. It’s a quiet kind of work, very different from the noise of the shop floor, but just as important for keeping things moving every single day.
