We’re tucked away in B. A. C Street 3rd Lane, over in Narayan Pally. It’s the Nimta area of Kolkata, which is always humming with people and noise. Hindustan Motors Ltd here is a bit different from the big factory sites. We’re in a narrow lane, so finding parking is always a headache for everyone. But we’ve made this space work for us. Inside, it’s a mix of old shelving and crates stacked up high. We deal with plenty of paperwork and small parts here. The light isn't the best in the back, but we know where everything is by heart. Kolkata-49 is a busy pin code, and you feel that energy every day. The fans hum overhead, trying to push the humid air around. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. Usually, guests just sit on whatever stool is handy. We talk plainly because there’s no time for fluff. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. That’s just the way it goes in Nimta. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. It’s dusty, it’s loud, and it’s where we earn our living. We don't make big promises.
