Hindustan Construction Co.Ltd.

We’ve been over here at Bijoygunge Bazar for quite a while now. Most people around South 24 Parganas know where the office is, just near the post office. It’s a busy spot, especially on market days. Our team at Hindustan Construction Co.Ltd. stays pretty busy with the local projects. The office is simple, nothing fancy, just a place where we get the paperwork done and meet the crews before they head out. Living and working in West Bengal means dealing with the heat and the rains, but we just keep at it. Some days are slow, others are a total rush. We have a few desks and some old maps on the walls. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things moving. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. Some of the guys have been with us since the start. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the real work happens outside, but this is where we all come back to at the end of the shift. If you walk past the bazaar, you’ll probably see our sign or one of the trucks parked nearby. It’s a decent place to work. We just do what needs doing every day. No big speeches or anything like that. Just regular people working here in the village. We try to be helpful when people stop by with questions. It is a bit dusty sometimes, but that is part of the job. We are glad to be part of the community here in South 24 Parganas.
