Hilti India Private Limited

This location is a bit different because we’re at Babul Roychowdhury’s place on Green Avenue. It’s in East Vivekanandapally in Siliguri. It’s more of a home setting than a commercial office block, which we actually like. It makes the Hilti India Private Limited work feel a bit more personal for everyone. We’re near the Rabindrasarani post office, so that’s where we go for mail and other stuff. It’s a quiet street for the most part, away from the main noise. We have our setup in one part of the building. There are shelves filled with catalogs and some tools we use. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. Most people who come here already know where we are. We have some tea together in the afternoon and talk about how the weather is changing. In Siliguri, you get some nice views when the sky is clear and the sun is out. Our routine is pretty steady. We handle the local requests and keep track of things on our computers. It’s not a fast-paced corporate environment. It’s just us doing what we need to do in a space that feels comfortable. We like being part of this local community and seeing familiar faces every day when we walk to the office.
