Herbochem Remedies India Pvt. Ltd. is located at 39, Chandra Mondal Lane. We are in the Sahanagar area of Kalighat, which is a place with a lot of history. Our building is one of those older ones, with narrow stairs and thick walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have a lot of materials stored everywhere. We work with various remedies and chemical bits, so there’s always a distinct smell in the air when you walk in. Some people find it strong, but we don’t even notice it anymore. It’s just the smell of work. There are about ten of us here on a regular day. We spend most of our time measuring things out and getting packages ready. We don’t have any high-tech gadgets or a modern lounge. We have an old desk for the phone and a few chairs that have seen better days. The lane outside is usually crowded with people and rickshaws, so it’s never quiet. We like the energy of Kalighat, though. There’s always something happening right outside the door. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just a local business doing what we’ve always done. We take pride in just being reliable and showing up every morning to get the orders filled. It’s a simple life. We usually close up shop as the sun starts to go down and the street lights flicker on.
