Herbalife

We are located right on the ground floor of the Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad building at 36 A Shakespeare Sarani. If you have spent any time in this part of Kolkata, you know how busy the street gets during the day. It’s a mix of old buildings and new offices. Our space isn't very large, but it serves us well. We handle the Herbalife products here, mostly keeping track of inventory and helping out the folks who come in to pick up their orders. It is a pretty straightforward operation. We don’t have fancy rugs or expensive art on the walls. It is just a place with some desks, shelves, and a few computers. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief during the summer months. Shakespeare Sarani has a lot of history, and being on the ground floor means we see a lot of the daily life going on outside. We have a few regulars who drop by just to say hello or ask about new stock. It is not the kind of place where you will find people in suits talking about big strategies. We are more about the day-to-day work, making sure things are where they should be. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding a spot to park, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. It’s a decent place to work and we like the neighborhood.
