This branch is located in Gilander House. If you know the building, you know it has a lot of history and a very specific look to it. It’s not like those modern glass towers you see everywhere now. Working here feels a bit different because of the old architecture. We are just a regular team of people handling the daily banking tasks. There is always a steady stream of people coming in and out throughout the day. Some are regulars who have been coming to this location for years. The high ceilings and the way the light comes in through the old windows make it an interesting place to spend the day. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. It’s mostly just the counters, the computers, and the chairs for people waiting. Gilander House is a well-known landmark, so it’s easy to tell people where we are. The hallways can be a bit drafty in the winter. We deal with all sorts of things, from simple deposits to more complicated paperwork. It’s a lot of standing and talking to people. Sometimes the queues get a bit long on the first of the month. We just try to get through the work as steadily as we can. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We aren't trying to be anything more than a neighborhood bank spot in an old, sturdy building. It’s just where we work and where the local people come for their money matters.
