Out here in Satghoria, things move a little slower than in the city. Our place is part of the Hooghly district, specifically in Pandua. If you’re looking for us, we are located at Tayab Ali’s house. It’s a familiar landmark for most people who live nearby. H.C.C. isn’t some massive operation; it’s just us working out of this village setting. The air is a bit fresher here, though the summers can get really hot. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks. We focus on the daily chores and making sure everything is sorted by evening. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a chat, which is just how things are in rural West Bengal. We’ve seen the seasons change many times from this spot. The rain during monsoon season makes the roads a bit muddy, but we still get our work done. It’s a straightforward life. We don’t use complicated systems or anything like that. We just rely on being consistent and being present. It’s funny how people think businesses need big signs and bright lights. We just have our name on the door and a phone that rings when someone needs us. Staying here in Satghoria suits us just fine.
