Hazra Udyog

We are located at Ichapore Majher Para in Santragachi. It’s a busy little spot. Most days you’ll find us busy with the metalwork and the machines humming in the background. My father started things here years ago, and we’ve just kept it going the same way. The workshop isn't fancy or anything. There’s grease on the floors and tools scattered on the benches, but that’s how we know work is getting done. People around Santragachi know where we are because of the noise from the welding and the cutting. We don’t spend much time on the computer or writing things down; we’d rather be on the floor fixing things or getting a new order ready for a neighbor. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but we usually just sit outside for a minute and talk until it comes back on. It’s a hot place in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we moved in, but our corner stays pretty much the same. We handle a lot of different jobs depending on who walks through the door. Usually, it’s just us trying to keep up with the schedule. If you come by, you’ll probably see me or one of the guys covered in dust. That’s just how it is here at Hazra Udyog. We don’t have a big front office, just the workspace and the driveway.
