Hars Group Of Companies is our business based out of Kolkata. We are located at Prasad Niwas, which is number 14M on Kalu Para Lane in the Dhakuria area. If you’ve ever been to Dhakuria, you know it has that old Kolkata feel with narrow streets and a lot of houses packed together. We started with one small idea and over time we ended up doing a few different things, so calling ourselves a group of companies seemed to make sense. It’s not like we have a huge skyscraper or anything. We just operate out of this building on Kalu Para Lane. Each day is a bit different because we have various projects going on at the same time. It can get a bit disorganized sometimes, but we usually manage to keep things moving. We don't really go in for the big corporate talk or polished presentations. We’re just local people running a set of businesses in our own way. The 700 031 zip code is where we’ve spent a lot of our time. We like the neighborhood and the people around here. It feels honest to work in a place where you know the guy selling tea on the corner. We spend a lot of time on the phone and handling paperwork in the office. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we do. We just focus on the day’s tasks and try to make sure everything at Prasad Niwas is running as it should.
