Focus on Dum Dum Park and you will find us at number 425. We started Harmony Tradecom Llp because we knew a bit about the trading business and wanted to run our own small thing. It is mostly just a few of us answering emails and checking on shipments throughout the day. The neighborhood is actually quite nice, with plenty of trees outside the window which helps when the work gets a bit stressful. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we usually manage to get things back on track pretty quickly. We are not a big corporation or anything like that. It is just a handful of people trying to keep things organized. Most days start with a cup of tea and a quick look at the ledger. We handle different types of goods, moving them from one place to another. It sounds simple on paper but there is actually a lot of paperwork involved. We have been here for a bit now and the local vendors know us. It is not a fancy office with glass walls, just a regular space where we get the job done. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed at the docks. That is just how this business goes. We do not have a big marketing team, so word of mouth is usually how people find out about what we are doing here in Kolkata. We just try to be honest and do the work right. It is a living, and we enjoy being our own bosses.
