Avantika Jewellers

You can find Avantika Jewellers down at Hanspukuria 1St Lane. We are at No. 4, right near K Street in Bada Bazar. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets. There are people everywhere and handcarts moving through the narrow lanes all day long. It's a loud place, but that’s just how Bada Bazar is. Our shop is small and tucked away in one of those lanes. We’ve been here a good while. The front door is old but sturdy. Inside, we have our counters and the lights that show everything clearly. We spend most of our day sitting behind those glass cases. People come in from the heat and the noise outside, and it’s a bit cooler in here. We keep a ledger for everything. It’s not a fancy showroom like you see in the malls. It’s more of a traditional setup. We know the neighbors, the other shopkeepers around Hanspukuria. We drink tea from the stall at the corner a few times a day. Sometimes deliveries get delayed because the traffic in the lanes is so stuck, but we manage. It’s a tight space, but we have everything we need right where we can reach it. It’s a bit dusty outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass. That's life in the heart of the market for us. We just keep the shop open and see who comes by each day. It is usually quite a long day.
