At Diamond Electrotech, we work out of No. 1/29 Suchita Nagar, right near the Post Office-Haltu. It’s a fairly quiet spot compared to the main markets, which we actually prefer. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed around us quite a bit. Our workspace is filled with tools, wires, and various electrical components scattered across the workbenches. It might look like a bit of a mess to someone walking in, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Usually, the sound of a soldering iron or a hum from a testing unit fills the room. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People usually come to us because they know we’re here at the back of Suchita Nagar. My brother and I run the place, and we usually have one or two helpers depending on how much work is piled up. We spend a lot of time looking at diagrams and trying to figure out small hardware issues. The office part is just a small desk with a computer and a stack of invoices that never seems to get smaller. We eat our lunch at the main table after clearing off some space. It’s a practical life. We aren’t trying to be anything big, just keeping the shop going and handling the electrical side of things for whoever needs it. It’s mostly just keeping the day-to-day operations moving without much of a break.
