Our office is tucked away on the second floor of the building at Bijoygarh, right across from the Bijoygarh Bidyapith for Boys School. You know the spot if you live around Jadavpur Central Road. Being in Apartment 2B makes it feel more like a home than a sterile office, which suits us just fine. Kolkata is a loud, bustling place and we are right in the middle of it. We spend our mornings dealing with paperwork and making sure the logistics side of the business is actually moving. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with drivers and clients. Sometimes the noise from the school across the street gets pretty loud during recess, but we’re used to it. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so we don't carry too much heavy stuff up here ourselves. It's mostly just us managing the flow of goods from our desks. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the streets around here like the back of our hand. It isn't a high-tech operation with flashing lights. It’s just phones, ledgers, and a lot of patience when the traffic on Central Road gets backed up. We try to stay organized even when things get chaotic during the monsoon or when a shipment is running late. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We show up, do the work, and go home to our families after the shutters go down.
