Habitation Properties Llp is located right on Russell Street, specifically at number 5 on the Street1St Floor. Russell Street is one of those places in Kolkata that always has something going on, so it is a good place to have an office. We are up on the first floor, which gives us a bit of a view of the street but keeps us away from the worst of the noise. We deal with all kinds of property things, mostly just helping people figure out where they want to live or work. It’s a lot of paperwork, which isn't the most exciting part of the job, but it has to be done. We are an LLP, so it is a small group of us working together. We don’t have any big corporate vibe here, it’s mostly just us in our shirtsleeves trying to get through the day's tasks. Sometimes we are out looking at apartments and other times we are just sitting here going through old records and titles. The city is always growing and changing, so there is never a shortage of work to do. We like being on Russell Street because it’s easy for people to find us and we are close to everything important. We’ve been in this office for a while now and it feels like home. It’s just a regular local business, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss. That is how we like to run things.
