H. & R. Johnson India Ltd.

Down here in Batanagar, we are located at Nungi Station Pally. It is care of Chanchal Chakraborty. Being near the station is handy for everyone working at H. & R. Johnson India Ltd. because the trains are right there. We are in the 24 Parganas South district, with the Kolkata 140 pincode. The office is pretty simple. It is the kind of place where you walk in and see people actually working at their desks. We handle the local side of things from this office. Batanagar has a specific feel to it, a bit old-school, and our workspace fits right in. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception desk. It’s just a spot where the work gets handled. The postman knows Chanchal well, so the mail usually arrives without any trouble. Sometimes the station area gets really crowded, especially during the morning rush. We hear the train whistles all day long. It's just part of the background noise for us now. We focus on getting through the logs and making sure the supplies are moving where they need to go. It’s a small team here. We mostly just talk about the work and what needs to happen by the end of the week. There’s no big mystery to it, just a local office doing its bit. We finish our tea and get back to the paperwork.
