Empire Plastics

Empire Plastics is located over at No. 8/3-B Gurudas Dutta Garden Lane. It is a bit of a quiet lane compared to the bigger roads nearby, but we stay busy enough on our own. Our shop is filled with all kinds of plastic goods and materials. You can smell the plastic as soon as you step inside, which is something we don't even notice anymore after being here so long. The space is a bit tight because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for our regular customers. We have rows of shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, and sometimes you need a ladder just to find what you are looking for. Gurudas Dutta Garden Lane is a nice enough place to be based. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other’s faces. We spend a lot of our time packing up orders or checking through the new shipments that come in. There isn't any fancy software or high-tech systems here; we mostly use paper notebooks to keep track of what we have. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and we haven't seen a reason to change it yet. When the sun goes down, we pull the shutters and head home, ready to do the same thing again the next morning. It’s just a normal business run by people who know their trade.
