Gulf Oil Corporation(Building Material)

We’re located at 67 Diamond Harbour Road, over in the Barisha area of Kolkata. People around here call this spot Baro Bari. If you’ve ever been on Diamond Harbour Road, you know it’s one of the busiest stretches in the city. There is always the sound of buses honking and people rushing to the market. Our office handles the building material side of the Gulf Oil Corporation. The building is an older one, which is typical for this part of South Kolkata. It has thick walls and those big windows that let in the street noise. We’ve got stacks of paperwork and samples around the place. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest, but we know where everything is. The office floor is usually a bit dusty from the construction materials we deal with and the general grit of the city. We don’t have fancy air conditioning in every corner, just a couple of units that work hard during the summer. Working here means being part of the Kolkata chaos every single day. We take our tea breaks at the stall downstairs and talk to the regulars. It’s a practical location because it puts us right where the trade is happening. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby; we just get the orders out and keep the paperwork moving for the building material side of the business.
