The roads around here can be quite tricky with all the heavy traffic heading towards the port or the city, so we spend a lot of time on the phone tracking where our loads are. It is a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you are filing a report and the next you are talking to a driver who got stuck in the rain. The building is basic, nothing fancy, just sturdy walls and fans that hum all day long. We have a lot of tea, talk about the local news, and make sure the cement gets to where the builders need it. It is a very grounded way of working. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just keep the logistics moving in this busy corner of Howrah. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work.
