Gtl Limited

Down in Kolkata, Gtl Limited is located at 19/19/1 Pitamber Ghatak Lane. This part of West Bengal has its own character, and our office is tucked away in this lane where it’s a bit more peaceful than the main thoroughfares. We have been working out of this spot for a good while now. The building is older, like much of the city, and has that classic Kolkata feel. Our daily routine is pretty set. We come in, check the status of our projects, and coordinate with the field teams. Dealing with infrastructure in a dense city like this has its challenges, but we are used to it by now. The lanes can be narrow and crowded, but that’s just how it is here. Inside, it’s just a bunch of desks and some old files, nothing flashy at all. We drink a lot of tea and talk through the technical problems that crop up. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office; we just need a place to coordinate the maintenance and technical stuff. It’s a local operation through and through. Most of the staff live nearby or take the bus in every morning. We know the neighbors and the local shops on Pitamber Ghatak Lane. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. We just keep our heads down and make sure the work gets done by the end of the day. It is simple, honest work that keeps us very busy.
