Our office is over at Flat-1F in the Bliss Tower. It is Phase-2 at 136A Bhupen Roy Road, Kolkata. Greenply Industries Ltd. is the business. We are located in the 700034 area code. The building is pretty easy to spot once you get on the road. We spend most of our hours here dealing with wood orders and distribution schedules. It is a typical Kolkata workspace with people coming and going throughout the day. We do not bother with a lot of professional decor. It is mostly just files, some chairs, and us. The fans keep the air moving during the humid months. We talk to a lot of carpenters and contractors who need reliable boards. It is a job that keeps us on our feet. Sometimes we go down to the street for a quick break and some chai. We have seen the neighborhood around Bhupen Roy Road change quite a bit over the years. Our team is small but we know what we are doing. We do not use any big words to describe the work. We just handle the plywood and make sure it gets where it needs to go. It is a simple business model that works for us. If someone calls, we pick up and try to solve whatever they need. That is how we spend our weeks here in the city. There is usually a stack of newspapers on the table and we keep the window open when it is not too noisy.
