Grand Holiday

Our office is at 30 Dumdum Road, which is near the Hanuman Mandir. It is a landmark that everyone knows, so we are easy to find. Grand Holiday has been in this spot for quite a while now. The space is small, and we have a lot of travel magazines from five years ago sitting on the table. We don't really throw them away because the pictures are still nice to look at. The morning usually starts with sweeping the front and getting the computer started. It is a bit slow to boot up, but it gets there eventually. We get a lot of walk-ins from people going to the temple. They see our sign and come in to ask about holiday packages. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. There is a printer that makes a loud grinding noise and a phone that rings constantly. We do our best to keep up with everything. Sometimes we get the dates mixed up on the first try, so we have to double-check everything twice. It is just me and my cousin running the place most days. We drink a lot of water because it gets very hot in this part of Kolkata. We don't have air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that moves the warm air around. It is a very basic operation, but we have been doing it for a long time.
