Goyal Commercial Co is tucked away on Rabindra Sarani, specifically at 22, Ground Floor, Shop No 258 & 259. We are also near Chittaranjan Avenue, which is one of the busiest parts of the city. If you know Kolkata, you know how crowded these streets get. It’s constant noise, horns honking, and people walking everywhere. Our shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Boxes are stacked almost to the ceiling in some corners. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. The building is old, like most things in this area, but it has character. We open the shutters early in the morning and stay until late in the evening. There is always someone coming in asking for prices or checking on an order. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking on the phone. Sometimes the heat in the summer is hard to deal with because the air doesn't move much in these narrow lanes. We just drink plenty of water and keep working. It is a family-run kind of place where things are done the old-fashioned way. We recognize the regulars who walk by every day. It’s a tight-knit community of traders around here. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sign outside. Just the name on the door and our everyday work. That’s how we like it. It keeps life simple for us.
