Om Trading Company

Om Trading Company is situated at No. 19/A/H-23. It’s a bit of an unusual address but we have been here long enough that everyone knows where to find us. The space is small and we use every inch of it for storage and a couple of desks. There isn't much of a view from the window, just the building next door. We start the day early, usually around nine. The first thing we do is check what came in the day before. It’s just a plain room with white walls that are starting to peel a little at the edges. We don't have any fancy decorations or anything like that. Just some calendars and a clock that is five minutes fast. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out lists. It can get quiet sometimes, which is nice for getting through the paperwork. Other times, three people show up at once and it feels crowded. We just take it as it comes. The area around us is mostly other small businesses like ours. We all get along and watch out for each other's deliveries. It's a practical way to run a company. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to do what we do. The rent is fair and the roof doesn't leak much when it rains. That’s enough for us.
