Global Health is on Canal Road, at 209 A on the ground floor. It’s in the 700048 zip code area. We have been here for some time now, providing a space for health-related services. The building is right there on the main stretch, so it’s not hard to find if you are driving along the canal. Inside, we have a few rooms set up for different purposes. It’s mostly painted white to keep it looking clean, but it’s not a fancy medical spa or anything like that. It’s just a practical health centre. We have a desk at the front where someone sits to answer questions and take appointments. The chairs in the waiting area are the basic plastic ones that are easy to wipe down. We see a lot of people from the nearby residential blocks. Sometimes the traffic on Canal Road makes it hard for people to park, so they usually walk or take a rickshaw. We try to stay on schedule, but sometimes things run late. It happens. We have some old posters on the walls about health tips that have been there since we opened. The staff is local, so we speak the language and know the neighborhood well. It is a quiet operation most days. We just focus on the people who come in needing help with their health. It’s a lot of routine work, but it’s important to the folks around here.
