Glaxy Foundries (P) Ltd.

Our office is on the 2nd floor at 19, R.N. Mukherjee Road. It’s right in the middle of a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise from the street below. Glaxy Foundries (P) Ltd. has been operating from this building for quite a while now. The elevator is sometimes slow, so most of us just take the stairs to the second floor. It’s a bit of a climb but it keeps us moving. The office itself is filled with blueprints, casting samples, and old wooden desks. It feels lived-in. We aren't interested in looking like a modern tech company. We do foundry work, which is old-fashioned and gritty. Even though the main foundry is elsewhere, this is where we handle the planning and the numbers. You’ll often find us hovering over a drawing or arguing about a specific measurement. There’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. We have stacks of paper everywhere. We still like to keep physical records of things. It's easier that way when someone calls with a question about a job from three years ago. The windows look out over the traffic, and sometimes we just watch the rain hit the glass while we work. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't have a PR department. We just have people who know how to work with metal and keep the business going through the busy months and the slow ones without much fuss.
