Inside, it's just us and our equipment. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby, just a door that stays open when the weather is nice. We spend our days tracking projects and making sure the numbers add up. It gets pretty humid here, especially in the monsoon, and the walls sometimes show the damp, but it's a solid place to work. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a bit now. You see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market every morning. It’s a local vibe. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We are just a group of staff members doing our jobs in a crowded city. Sometimes the traffic on the way to Sisir Bagan Road is a nightmare, but that’s just Kolkata for you. We just get on with it. There’s always a stack of papers to go through and phone calls to return. It’s honest work in a real neighborhood. We like being based in Behala, it feels lived-in and genuine. It is a bit noisy, but we like it.
