You can find Gammon India Limited at 20/639 in Tagore Nagar, which is over in Vikhroli East in Mumbai. This city is always moving at a fast pace and we try our best to keep up. Our office is a busy place with people coming and going all the time. We work on big infrastructure projects like power plants and bridges. It is the kind of work that takes a lot of patience and long hours. The office doesn't have any fancy decorations. It is just a place to keep our files and meet to talk about the next steps on a project. Mumbai gets really hot and the monsoon rains can be a real problem for construction, so we spend a lot of time planning for that. We don't have any polished speeches or mission statements. We just show up and do the engineering work that needs doing. Sometimes the local trains are a mess and we all get in late, but we stay until the job is done. There is always tea being made in the back and the smell of it fills the room. We have been in this part of Vikhroli for a while and we like the local feel of Tagore Nagar. It is not a glamorous business but it is honest work. We build things that people use every day and that is enough for us. It is just a normal day here.
