You can find us over at 104M, Karunamayee, along Ghar Road. It’s an interesting spot to work, right in the middle of everything. Gallent Equipments Pvt. Ltd. isn’t some massive corporation with glass walls. We’re more of a hands-on crew. The building is older, and it has its share of character, like the door that sticks when it rains. We deal with equipment all day, so there’s usually a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The traffic on Ghar Road can be a bit much in the mornings, but once we get inside and get the lights on, it’s just another day at the job. We don’t spend much time on fancy emails or anything. Most of our communication is just shouting across the room or writing notes on scraps of paper. It works for us. We’ve got a few different sections in the building for storage and assembly. It gets a little cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we always find a way to make it fit. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a second to breathe. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady work. We try to keep the machines in good shape and the floor swept, though the dust always seems to find its way back in. That’s just part of being on Ghar Road, I guess. We are just here doing our thing.
