Galaxy The Life Style Store

We’ve been here at Gariahat Road for a good while now, right in that spot between Golpark and the Dhakuria Bridge. Most people around here know the area can get pretty busy, especially with all the foot traffic coming off the bridge. We just run a simple lifestyle store, Galaxy, trying to keep things stocked with stuff people actually need or want to buy for their homes. It’s not a huge place, but we try to make use of every corner of the shop at number 42. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, it's just us sorting through new clothes or items that arrived that morning. My staff and I spend a lot of time just chatting with locals who stop in on their way home. It’s a lot of work keeping the shelves organized because things tend to get messy when people are browsing through everything. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a shop where you can find something decent without too much fuss. Sometimes the noise from the Sarat Bose Road traffic gets a bit loud inside, but you get used to it after a few months. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our front door. Mostly, we just focus on getting through the day, making sure the lights are on and the door is open for whoever happens to walk by while they're out doing their shopping.
