We operate out of 17/E on S.N. Roy Road. It’s a straightforward location for a straightforward business. At Galaxy Safety Apparels, we don’t spend much time on fancy presentations. Our focus is almost entirely on the clothes we make for work safety. The workshop is usually a bit of a maze with rolls of heavy fabric and sewing machines everywhere. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the rhythm of the production. We have a dedicated group of people who know how to handle the tough materials we use. We don't use any big marketing words or try to act like a huge corporate entity. We’re just a local business making sure we get the sewing right. S.N. Roy Road is a decent place to be, though it gets its fair share of dust and traffic. We keep our doors open and just get on with the day's tasks. There’s no big reception area or anything like that—just a place to work. We spend our time checking seams and making sure the sizes are correct. It’s repetitive work, but it’s important for what we do. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a list of things that need to be finished by Friday. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for years now without needing to change much about how we run things.
