Furniture Junction

We are situated at 54B Hazra Road, right between Ballygunge Phari and the Hazra Law College. It’s a busy stretch of road with plenty of students and office workers walking by all the time. Our shop isn't very wide, so we have to be careful how we arrange the furniture so people can actually walk through. We have sofas, tables, and chairs packed in quite closely. You can usually smell the wood polish when you step inside. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us here, moving things around and dusting the displays. The traffic outside is constant, and you can hear the horns and the buses all day long. Sometimes we sit on one of the display sofas when things are quiet. We’ve been at this location in Ballygunge for quite a while now. The building is a bit old, and the floors are slightly uneven, but it has a lot of character. We don't follow a strict corporate script when people come in. We just talk to them like normal people. Most of our day is spent cleaning the glass tops or checking the stock that comes in from the warehouse. It’s a simple way to spend the day. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just keep the shop open and see who comes through the door looking for something for their home. It is just a regular shop in a busy city.
