Furnitech

Our place, Furnitech, is located at 131/132 on G T Road in the Salkia area. We are also near Beadon Street, which makes it a bit easier to find for some people. Being on G T Road means we deal with a lot of noise and dust from the heavy traffic outside. It’s one of the oldest roads around, and you can feel that history in the buildings. Our shop is a practical space. We don't have fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s mostly just the stock and the tools we need. We spend a lot of time organizing things and making sure we know where everything is. The building itself is quite old, with thick walls that keep it a bit cooler than the street, but it’s still a warm place to work. We start our day early, unlocking the heavy shutters and letting the light in. There is always something to do, whether it’s checking the inventory or talking to the delivery drivers. We don't really have a marketing plan or anything like that. People just know we are here on G T Road and they come in when they need something. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, and things get quiet, but mostly it’s a non-stop rush. We like the pace of Salkia. It’s a hard-working neighborhood and we fit right in with our simple shop and daily routine.
