You can find Fun Station over on Kanai Seal Street. It’s a narrow street and can get pretty crowded during the day with all the traffic and people, but we like it here. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years and have seen a lot of kids grow up from toddlers to teenagers. The shop is full of all sorts of things, from small plastic toys and dolls to board games and whatever else we can fit on the shelves. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially after a group of kids comes through on a Saturday afternoon and moves everything around. We don’t really have a strict system for where everything goes, we just put stuff where there’s an open space. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others helping out. We spend a lot of time dusting off the boxes and talking to the parents who stop by after work. Sometimes we get new stock that doesn't sell for months, and other times we run out of the popular things in just two days. It’s hard to predict what people will want. We aren't trying to be some big chain store with bright lights. We just want to keep the lights on and have a place where people can find a small birthday gift or a treat for their children. It’s a simple life for us. We close up when it gets dark and start again the next morning. It’s mostly about being part of the street and knowing our neighbors.
