Our office is on Khudiram Bose Road in Kolkata. It’s a typical old-school street. We do logistics and some consulting work here. Being at number 14, we are right in the middle of things. Kolkata is a city that moves at its own pace. Sometimes the rain slows everything down and we just have to wait it out. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at shipping schedules. It isn't a high-tech lab. Just a regular office with desks, some old computers, and a lot of paper. We help people figure out how to move their goods from one place to another. Sometimes it's complicated, sometimes it's simple. We don't use big words or try to act like we know everything. We just use our experience. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s when we usually take a break. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. Some businesses leave, others come in, but we’ve stayed put. The humidity can be tough, but the ceiling fans keep us going. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in India. We just want to do the job right for the people who hire us. It's honest work. If you walk down the road, you'll see our sign. It's nothing special, but it lets people know where we are. We just keep track of the files and keep the clients informed.
