We are located on Moore Avenue in the Khelagarh Apartment building, up on the first floor. This part of Kolkata has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. Our office isn't very large, just enough space for the computers and the people who run them. We deal with a lot of packages every single day. Some are small and light, others are big and awkward. It’s a lot of scanning and labeling, making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. We don't have a polished corporate image here; we're just workers in blue shirts trying to get the job done. Sometimes the traffic on Moore Avenue makes it hard for the vans to get in and out, but we manage the best we can. The air conditioner in the office makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool while we work through the piles of paper. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just take parcels and send them where they need to go. It's a lot of repetitive work, but it's important to the people waiting for their things. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regulars who drop by. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation. We show up, we work, and we go home. That's the way it is.
