Our office is GD3 in Sector-III of Salt Lake City, Kolkata. The pincode is 700091. We are right in the middle of a bunch of other offices and houses. Expo Freight Pvt Ltd has been here for quite some time now. The building is standard for Salt Lake, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is just a lot of desks, computers, and files. We deal with freight, so there is always a bit of stress about schedules and delays. You can usually hear the printers going non-stop. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few photos of our families. The street outside can get a bit crowded with parked cars, but that is just Kolkata for you. We are a small team and we have worked together for a long time, so we know each other's habits. We drink way too much tea during the day to stay sharp. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get to the office, but we usually manage. It is a steady environment. We don't try to sound like a massive corporation because we aren't. We are just people working in Sector-III, trying to make sure the cargo gets to where it is supposed to be. It is a lot of coordination and checking things twice. That is pretty much our daily life here and we are okay with that.
