At Expert_Spa (Jv), Pmc Of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, the office is situated at 18-B on Sahanagar Road, down on the ground floor. We are in Kolkata, and it’s a pretty lively neighborhood. We work as a project management consultancy, specifically involved with some rail projects. It sounds more complicated than it is when you’re actually sitting here. Mostly, it’s just a lot of checking charts, looking at progress reports, and making sure the numbers add up. The ground floor is handy because we don't have to climb stairs when we're carrying heavy boxes of documents. It’s a bit dim inside sometimes, so we keep the lights on even during the day. We’ve got a small team that’s been together for a while. We know who takes their tea with sugar and who doesn't. We don’t have fancy coffee machines; we just get it from the stall down the road. The work is important for the railway stuff, but our daily life is very ordinary. We sit at our desks, answer the phone, and try to keep everything moving forward. Kolkata is a noisy city, and Sahanagar Road is no exception. You hear the horns and the people outside all day long. It’s just the background noise to our work.
