Exotic Decor (Wooden Flooring Company)

Our shop is located at 70 Rabindra Sarani in Kolkata, which is one of the oldest and busiest streets you will ever see. It is right in the heart of the city, surrounded by old buildings and endless rows of shops. We focus on wooden flooring, so our place is always smelling like sawdust and polish. The space is quite cramped because we have stacks of wooden planks and samples everywhere you look. If you walk in, you have to be careful not to trip over a stray piece of timber. The building itself has been around for ages, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it somewhat cool during the humid Kolkata summers. Outside, the street is a constant roar of hand-pulled rickshaws, taxis, and people shouting. It’s very loud, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time showing different wood grains to customers and explaining how they hold up in this weather. It’s a hands-on job. Our clothes usually have a bit of wood dust on them by the end of the day. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a warehouse feel where you can actually see and touch the materials. We take our work seriously but we don't act like we are some big corporate firm. We are just a local Kolkata business trying to do honest work.
