We are at Keota Ghosh-Para, right in Sahaganj. Mr. Kapil Santra lets us use this spot for our operations. It is a bit out of the way, but we have been working here for a while now. Most days it is just about moving batteries in and out. The Hooghly heat is no joke, especially in the warehouse part during the summer months. People come by asking for stuff, and we help them out. It is not a big fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. Mostly, we just keep track of the stock and make sure the deliveries go out to the local shops on time. Sometimes the roads get muddy when it rains hard, which makes things quite slow. We do not have a big team, just a few of us. We drink a lot of tea from the small stall down the road. It is quiet here mostly, except for when the trucks come in. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. It's more about the physical work and checking the crates. The building is old but it works for what we need. We have got the Exide sign outside so people can find us, though most locals know the way to Kapil’s place anyway. It is just how we do things here, day in and day out, without any fuss. Nothing special, just keeping the batteries moving for the people who need them. We try to be helpful if someone’s car won’t start nearby.
