Exide Industries Limites

Exide Industries Limites is based at Exide House, 59 E Chowringhee. This building is a bit of a landmark in this part of Kolkata. Chowringhee is always bustling with people, yellow taxis, and vendors, and we are right in the thick of it. Exide House itself has that old-school feel with high ceilings and heavy doors. It isn't like those new glass towers you see in the IT parks. It’s a solid place with a lot of history in the walls. We deal with batteries of all shapes and sizes. Sometimes the lobby gets crowded with people coming in for different things, and it can get a bit noisy with the street sounds filtering in. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordination between the different floors. It’s a big operation, but at the end of the day, it’s just a bunch of people trying to keep things running. We have desks piled with papers and some older furniture that has been here for years. The tea stalls right outside the building are where most of us go when we need a break from the phones and the spreadsheets. It’s a busy, sometimes messy, but very real part of the city. We don't try to look like a Silicon Valley startup. We are a Kolkata business through and through, working out of a building that has seen the city change around it for many decades.
