Everlight International

Everlight International is way up on the 9th floor at 4 Synagogue Street. We are in Room 905, and it’s a long way up if you aren’t using the lift. The office is pretty simple, just some desks and a lot of files. We do a lot of coordinating from here. Looking out the window, you can see the tops of the other buildings around this part of town. It’s usually quiet inside compared to the street down below. We spend most of our time on the computer or talking on the phone. There’s always some paperwork that needs to be filed or a shipment to track. It isn’t very exciting, but it’s what we do every day. The room number is repeated on the door for some reason, 905 and then 905 again. We have tea around four o’clock, and that’s usually when we take a small break. The building is old but it stays cool enough. We don’t really have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some notes stuck everywhere. It’s a practical space for working. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to wait it out. We’ve been here for a while now, so we know the other people on this floor. It’s just a regular office job in a busy part of the city where we keep track of everything coming in and out.
