Everest Industries Ltd.

Over in Kolkata, Everest Industries Ltd is set up on Sree Nagar Main Road. We are quite close to Lalgate in the Panchasayar area. It’s a typical Kolkata street, always something happening outside. The office isn't very large, but we make it work. We’ve got our files and our computers all squeezed in. Being near the main road means it can get a bit noisy with the horns and the buses, but you get used to it. We handle the regional stuff from here. A lot of our day is spent talking to clients on the phone or checking in with the warehouse. The humidity in the summer can be tough, so the fans are always on full blast. We’re just a bunch of regular people trying to keep things organized. We don't have a reception desk. If you come in, you’ll probably see one of us deep in spreadsheets. We’ve been in this part of Kolkata for a good number of years. It’s a convenient location for us to get to different parts of the city. We have a small pantry where we make tea. It’s a simple setup. No big speeches or fancy posters on the walls. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the orders are processed correctly. It’s busy, it’s a bit messy sometimes, but it’s our workplace and we like the routine of it. The tea is always sweet.
