We have been sitting here at 7 Chakraberia Road South for more years than I can easily count. Bhowanipur is a busy part of the city and our registered office is tucked away right here. It is not some fancy glass tower like you see in the newer parts of town but a regular building that gets the job done. Most days start with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of tea from the corner stall wafting in through the window. We spend our time dealing with the official paperwork and all the boring administrative stuff that keeps a large company moving behind the scenes. There are a lot of files piled up on the desks and the sound of the old ceiling fan is pretty much the only music we have. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we just open the windows and keep at it. People stop by sometimes looking for different departments but we just point them in the right direction or take their messages. The traffic on Chakraberia Road can be a real mess around five o'clock so we usually wait a bit before heading home. It is a simple place with old wooden chairs and a lot of history in the walls. We do not have any big posters about missions or goals because we are too busy just making sure the records are right and the mail gets sent to the right people every day. The street can get narrow and parking is usually a headache so we tell people to use a rickshaw.
