If you are looking for us at 12/H/50 on Bedford Lane, you have to keep your eyes open because it’s easy to walk right past it. Park Street is always loud and crowded, but once you turn into the lane, things change a bit. Esteem Creations is tucked away in one of those older buildings where the walls are thick and the windows are small. It’s a tight squeeze inside with all the materials we have piled up. We’ve got stacks of fabric and half-finished projects on almost every flat surface. We don't really have a fancy showroom or a place for people to sit and wait. It’s more of a workshop than anything else. Most of the time, the radio is playing somewhere in the background, mostly just for some noise while we work. The floor is usually covered in scraps of thread and paper, and no matter how much we sweep, it seems to come back by noon. We’re just a small group of people trying to keep things moving. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on, which is just part of being in this neighborhood. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We’d rather just focus on getting the orders out of the door. It’s a bit cramped and messy, but it’s our space and we’ve made it work for us.
