We've been at 2, N.C. Dutta Sarani for a good while now. Our office is in the basement, Suit No. 3, right near Clive Ghat. It’s not a fancy spot, but it works for us. Esc Forgings Pvt. Ltd. handles a lot of metal work every day. Most of the time, the air down here is heavy with the smell of work and coffee. People come in and out with orders, and we just try to keep up with the pile on the desk. It gets busy, especially on Mondays. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, but we don't mind much as long as the phone keeps ringing. We spend most of our hours looking at specs and making sure things are moving along. It’s honest work. My desk is usually covered in papers and maybe a half-eaten lunch. We’ve known the neighbors for years. You get used to the noise of the street above. It’s just how it is here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us doing what we know how to do. If you walk past the basement entrance, you might hear us talking about the latest batch of forgings. We try to be fair and get things out on time. Sometimes there are delays because that's just life, but we deal with it. It’s a bit cramped in Suit No. 3, but it’s home for the workday. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. We like the local routine.
